Euronext’s Communications and IR department
The Communications and Investor Relations team based in Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, Oslo and Paris, plays a key role in how external stakeholders perceives Euronext, organizes all external events of Euronext and also manages relations with investors and analysts. Within the Communications and Investor Relations team, we have a team of talented people specialising in Event Management, Media Relations, Investor Relations, Employee Engagement, Social media communication and Branding & Content management. We also have the Editorial Review team responsible for editing and reviewing both internal and external communications.
VIE Marketing and Events in Brussels
As a member of Euronext Events Department, the Marketing and Events Officer will be in charge of all events activities organised by Euronext Brussels and will have an active role in the Euronext’s events, communication and marketing initiatives. The Marketing and Events Officer will be responsible of the organization of +/- 60 events per year taking place in and outside Euronext premises.
The Marketing and Events Officer will closely work with the following teams: Marketing, Institutional Communication, Internal Communication, Human Resources, Business and Global Sales representatives as well as the management of the company. While working on pan-European initiatives, she/he will also help on specific events and projects in collaboration with Event Managers based in the other Euronext locations.
Physical, hybrid and virtual events organized by Euronext are at the heart of the group’s marketing and communication strategy, and include:
- Euronext Brussels’ Annual Conference
- Pre-IPO program’s workshops
- IPO and bell ceremonies
- Local and pan-European webinars
- Conferences
- Joint workshops and seminars
- Internal end of year event
- Private lunches / dinners / cocktails
- Booths at tradeshows
- Customers’ events, etc.
Key accountabilities
Event organisation
- Ensure swift delivery of all local events, while maximizing satisfaction of all involved stakeholders and impact of all communication outcomes (onsite branding, website, social media, photos, video)
- Plan, coordinate and organise (from invitation to reporting) Euronext Brussels’ onsite events in collaboration with Euronext’s partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate virtual and hybrid events (from client brief to platform trainings for speakers and technical details on D-day)
Communication projects
- Coordinate communication ahead, during and after events (invitation, reminders, classic emailing, etc.)
- Ensure that all events and related communication comply with the Euronext visual identity
- Suggest ideas to marketing teams to give Euronext higher visibility ahead, during and after events and actively contribute to the marketing initiatives supporting the Euronext educational programs
- Create marketing supports for different events (web banners, ad, videos, visuals, banners, goodies, stands,....).
- Help the Social Media Managers in the content creation process, liaise with the creative agency for video and visuals creation, ensure brand consistency
- Act as back-up for the local Head of Communications and the other Event Managers during their absence
Partnerships
- Plan and coordinate Euronext’s participation to events, conferences and congresses organised by third parties
- Proactively identify and assess events, speaking opportunities and potential partnerships and further build and maintain the relationship with the local ecosystem
- Assist the local CEO and Head of Listings for all events and speaking opportunities
Suppliers and cost management
- Manage external suppliers and agencies effectively in order to ensure that Euronext receives the best possible service for a fair price
- Control budgets and manage administrative follow-up of suppliers
- Participate in trade shows to source a new pool of suppliers
Projects and process
- Update the pan-European events list
- Benchmarking (processes & events)
- Enhance and develop pan-European events and projects initiatives
- Suggest events consistent with the Euronext’s internationalization strategy
- Further develop Euronext events’ ESG guidelines
- Nurture and manage the local marketing and communication calendar
- Suggest new event processes and tools to increase the team productivity

Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Good time management skills, comfortable in meeting deadlines and handling multiple issues simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
- Comfortable in using digital events platforms and webcasting tools
- Master’s degree or equivalent in international marketing / communication / events
- Previous experience in Events with a clear understanding of B2B client relationships (incl. internship, apprenticeship, etc.)
- Detail oriented, with a structured and accountable working style
- Strong editing, writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan ahead and be proactive around marketing and communications opportunities
- Confident in facing with high profile clients
- Customer-focused and keen to understand the business stakes
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in events
- European outlook
- Understand and use social media channels
- Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
