For a function located in Hoboken, the Maintenance & Monitoring department of EQUANS is looking for a Work Preparator. In this role, you bring support to the M&M project managers in the preparation of offshore interventions, with respect to necessary materials and tools and preparation of RAMS.You also bring support to the Maintenance Engineer in the elaboration of RCA and in the review of Operation and Maintenance Manuals; and to the Construction and Engineering department on ad hoc base (e.g. preparation of FAT, MC and HAT protocols, assistance to FAT and HAT testing).

  • you prepare purchase requests and follow-up PO’s and deliveries
  • you prepare material and tools packages ready for shipment to offshore departure harbours
  • you prepare RAMS‘ documents
  • you prepare first drafts of RCA, under guidance of the Maintenance Engineer
  • you prepare first drafts of FAT, MC, HAT protocols for discussion with the system engineers.
  • you review O&M manuals and summarize comments for discussion with the maintenance engineers and system engineers
  • you follow up of tasks in MS Office Planner, and report to management on a regular basis
  • you capture lessons learned and share them according to EQUANS procedures

  • a bachelor in electromechanics or electricity
  • a first relevant working experience
  • a good knowledge of electricity and instrumentation
  • a good knowledge of EQUANS offshore procedures
  • an offshore safety awareness (in the preparation and description of tasks)
  • a good insight in the processes and P&ID of the systems installed on the platform
  • knowledge of common MS Office packages
  • a practical knowledge of materials and its apps
  • to be well organized and punctual
  • a big awareness for in-time-delivery of materials, tools, documents
  • able to work in a team and promote team spirit
  • perfect knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English
