As Design Coordinator you will be in charge of the end-to-end coordination of your assigned modification projects in respect of design requirements, budget and on-time delivery. You will be in contact with all TUI Airline stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers. In this role, you’ll report to the Design Manager.

How You Will Make An Impact

There are many ways for you to get involved:
  • You are the responsible person to manage all aspects of EASA Part-21J design projects;
  • You will prepare technical specifications with internal customers;
  • You will assess technical and certification feasibility with Part-21J DOA;
  • You shall make thorough make/buy decisions;
  • You will ensure there’s a proper follow-up in regards to project management of design development, production of parts and prototype implementation;
  • You shall manage suppliers and keep a close eye on budget follow-up and invoicing control;
  • You are the focal point for technical issues.

What You Will Bring

There is more than one way to the perfect fit – here are some of the ideal things:
  • You have a master’s degree in Aeronautics (or equal through experience);
  • You have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • You have good working knowledge of EASA Part-21/Part-M and Part-145 regulations;
  • You have good working knowledge of CS-25, Type Certificate holder documentation and of AutoCAD or similar applications;
  • You have excellent communication skills and can coordinate teams;
  • You are cost-conscious, proactive and accurate;
  • You are independent, flexible and have a solution-oriented approach to work;
  • You take responsibility for both your own work and the work of the members of your team and strive for continuous optimisation;
  • You have an excellent command of the English language and are fluent in either Dutch or French;
  • You are open for travelling.
