Description:As a senior FrontEnd Software Engineer, you have over 5 years of experience in creating designs and codes for front end software applications :
  • You comprehend the functional design, based on the functional specifications;
  • You draw up the program structure based on the technical design;
  • You create and execute tests cases, and modify existing programs for production;
  • You design related changes to be updated in the design document;
  • You conduct self & peer code review;
  • You resolve the assigned incidents and defects and track to closure;
  • You execute technical integration testing of the application in relation with interfacing applications.
Next to a proven experience in software development, you have the following core competences : Agile Methodologies, Analytical thinking, Collaborating, Eager to learn, Independent, Problem solving, Result driven.What does this position entail?The Third Party Services (3PS) team is a group of committed and enthusiastic employees, who give the best of themselves every day to further develop our applications, with a drive for quality and a focus on customer experience. What started out as offering tickets for De Lijn and SNCB has since expanded into a wide range of extra services in Mobile, with the ambition to expand this much further: the sky is the limit.The intention is to build applications with a cloud native design in function of web scaling, flexible delivery and integration with cloud eco-systems. To realize these benefits of cloud environments, we use container platforms (Kubernetes & OpenShift), microservices based design, API management, java frameworks like spring/springboot and cloud related databases (both SQL and no-SQL).For our team we are looking for a front-end engineer to build the required frontend screens via use cases, step by step. The team is a cross-functional team to maximize build-integration-deploy-test processes in a DevOps context to automate and deliver performant, quality applications.What do we expect from you?We are looking for someone who:

  • Expert in object-oriented in modern programming languages.
  • Operating system: Linux, OSX, ...
  • Solid experience with development for front-end applications and RESTful web services, JSON, ... The tech stack here is:

  • You are flexible, sociable, creative and communicate clearly
  • You have a degree in computer science or computer engineering
