DIGITAL CONTENT SPECIALIST

Vlerick is a school, but it is run as a company, aligned with the high standards we foster in our different programmes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Digital Content Specialist to join our Corporate Marketing team.

The job

• Translate our content strategy onto the different digital channels (I.A. our corporate website, social media, podcasts, videos, paid campaigns, etc.) with maximum impact by combining a customer-centered approach, our strategic objectives & brand identity.
• Draw up digital content plans around specific strategic content themes, optimise the digital channel mix, measure, follow-up and advise together with our content producers and product marketeers.
• Benchmark and keep up to date on digital marketing trends and content marketing best practices. Continuously monitor ROI of different marketing initiatives.
• Actively manage and promote our content on our corporate website.
  • Create and maintain webpages in our CMS with the internal content providers.
  • Continuously measure the KPIs in web-analytics, analyse, report & follow-up.
  • Continuously optimise user experience and maximize conversion through web copy, SEO, usability tests, navigation & design, A/B tests, personalisation, detecting and reporting bugs etc.
  • Create optimal synergies and links between the website, the other digital channels and print. Play an important role in our emailing marketing strategy.
  • Take the lead of the monthly web Key User Group and are an active member of the internal web core team evaluating change requests, keeping an eye on the web content strategy.

• Liaise and cooperate with multiple stakeholders (content producers, product marketeers, external partners).

You

• Have about 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Are a strong communicator, both in English & Dutch.
• Look forward to collaborating with multiple internal & external stakeholders.
• Are both creative and analytically strong when it comes to managing content.
• Like working organised, are result-oriented and eager to learn and experiment.
• Have a solid knowledge of SEO best practices, experience with A/B testing & a good knowledge of web analytics (google analytics, google data studio).
• Can work with front-end graphical tools (I.A. Photoshop).
• Are happy to work on one of our 3 campuses in the city center of Ghent, Leuven or Brussels (close to Brussel North Station), combined with your home office.

What’s a plus? Having a Google Analytics certification and a basic knowledge of CSS & HTML.
