The team you will be a part of

This role is part of the Ecommerce and Digital team, supporting data-driven decision-making, sales performance analysis, and optimisation of online customer journeys to achieve business growth objectives.

This role in summary

The Ecommerce Analyst is responsible for analysing online sales performance, customer behaviour, and website data to provide actionable insights that drive conversion, revenue growth, and an enhanced ecommerce experience. This role reports to the senior ecommerce analyst.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Plan, Monitor, analyse, and report on ecommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion, sales, and customer behaviour
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for improving website performance and user experience
  • Support the development of ecommerce strategies by providing data-driven recommendations
  • Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and IT teams to implement optimisation initiatives
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmark performance metrics
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across ecommerce platforms and analytics tools
  • Stay updated with ecommerce trends and analytics best practices to drive continuous improvement

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as VTEX or Shopify
  • Experienced in working with a CMS
  • Has worked with a collaboration tool like Jira
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex data clearly
  • Masters English in wording and writing. Proficiency in French and or Dutch is a pre
