JOB OBJECTIVES

The Account Manager Photo Retail Benelux delivers business results according to the account strategy as set by the management. He or she is responsible for the sale and promotion of Sony Photo Imaging products to allocated existing and new centrally buying clients located in the South of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. He or she is also responsible for optimizing relationship management within the agreed frameworks of the sales strategy and the distribution policy. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, possess the highest levels of energy and be truly results driven. This person must be able to always strive to deliver the total category approach to end consumers. A proactive challenger attitude is a must in wanting to join the most attractive and innovative company in the electronic space.

Result Responsibilities
  • Selling to customers achieving net sales and profit targets taking standards/values into consideration
  • Effectively managing accounts in a multi-channel retail environment and driving growth in both traditional channels and e-commerce
  • Maximising conversion at shop front to drive sell out to the end user Achieving set ranging and stock level targets
  • Creating sales and sell out planning and forecast/account plan
  • Doing sales planning and forecast update and reporting
  • Maintaining business plans for all assigned accounts and review on a monthly basis and prior to any dealer visit
  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with current and potential customers (multilevel)
  • Ensuring Promotional/Communication plan is in place for each promo period, and reviewed regularly in line with seasonal and launch planning, to ensure all customer’s retail touch points are maximised
  • Maintaining contact with Marketing, Sales Support, Consumer Marketing Communication, Service and Sales within Sony Netherlands and Sony Belgium
  • Collaborating on a daily basis with appointed distributors
  • Organizing and being present at Sony events or customer events
  • Organizing training sessions at customer’s place of business or at other locations
  • Organizing incentives and other sales-promoting activities at the customer
  • All work needs to be performed as set out in the Sony Way of Selling (SWOS)
Job Requirements
  • Proven commercial experience, preferably in a similar industry or FMCG
  • Proven experience in multi-channel retailing and knowledge of e-commerce marketing/sales
  • Higher education, preferably with a commercial background
  • MS Office experience, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of Dutch, French and English
  • Proven track record, hunter mentality
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Has an open mindset towards, embraces and continuously initiates and implements change
  • Result-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of Premium Photo/Video Camera is a plus
