Position: Accountant

Salary: € 35,000 – 40,000

Location: Mechelen, Belgium

Remote work: Acceptable, but you should take a training for 2 months in the office.

Company: Start-up Japanese company

Language: Business Dutch, French and English

【 Responsibility 】

1 ） Monthly accounting including management of;
  • purchase ledger and nominal ledger.
  • cashbook and bank transactions including payments to suppliers
  • month end procedure including accruals/prepayments/stock valuations
  • assets register and depreciation calculations
  • machine stock record and movements
  • staff expenses
  • credit control (Credit check, collection)

2 ） Budget control
  • Year budget
  • event budget
  • forecast

3)Compliance work
  • VAT Returns
  • Assistance with corporation tax

4)HR and Payroll inc management of;
  • data to payroll company for monthly payroll processing
  • company pension scheme
【 Essential Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications 】
  • Experience in the year-end close and the month-end close
  • Able to speak Business Dutch, French and English
  • Vailed working visa in Belgium
  • Experience in working in Manufacturing company would be preferred
  • Understanding of Japanese business practices
  • Proven accurate data entry work experience
