OverviewAs Accountant you will compute and prepare data for journal entries, review general ledger and related financial statements for reasonableness/accuracy. You will accumulate information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports, and taxes.   • Posting of purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Processing of bank statements
  • Preparing and executing national payments
  • Prepare and process accurate manual journal entries
  • Assist in month end close procedures
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of assigned accounts
  • Work across departments and business units to resolve issues with transactions
  • Assist with internal control process & procedures
  • Provide ad hoc analysis of business transactions
  • Responsible for preparation for reclaiming VAT
  • Preparation of and assistance with the annual audit
QualificationsAre you detail-oriented and organized? Do you have experience in accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliation? Do you recognize yourself in the points below? Then maybe you are the accountant we are looking for!
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills in Dutch, English and French
  • PC literature (Word, Excel, e-mail, ERP-systems)
  • Well organized and accurate
  • Flexible in adjusting to organizational needs
  • Take initiative
