For one of our client based in Brussels, we are currently looking for an Application analyst.

You will be responsible of the administration, monitoring and maintenance of software infrastructures and applications.

Responsibilities

Functional analysis (translating functional needs into specifications and solutions), in line with the (ICT) strategy
Translate the functional needs into user stories and solutions
Project support
Participate in projects to change or deploy applications for B stations
Contribute to the development of test scenarios, functional testing and data cleaning
Application portfolio management
Act as a point of contact for multiple applications and help determine how the applications should evolve in coordination with, among others, the architects
Regularly coordinate with users, suppliers and other stakeholders to draw up and manage the necessary roadmaps (improvements, bugs, incidents).
Configure solutions
Provide functional support with regard to the application portfolio
Coordinate and analyze issues that arise with the applications
Document the solutions and keep the information up to date
Up and running control of the applications
Ensuring that the applications are always working properly
Coaching and supporting other employees in the team
Intensive collaboration with offshore colleagues who are responsible for the development of some applications

Profile

In-depth knowledge of IT and computer science principles
Trlingual Dutch/French/English
Strong leadership ability and interpersonal skills
Analytical and critical thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Leadership and multitasking skills
Ability to use notation (BPMN) and modeling systems (UML)
A first experience with SparX Enterprise Architect is a plus
An experience in IoT and Big Data projects is a plus
