You work in a business that is evolving and changing at a high pace. We at Business Processes & Systems support our customers by offering automated solutions and designing processes and information flows.

What will you do concretely?

  • You will support and supervise the introduction of new applications or the integration of applications with existing softwares. For this you will work closely with your fellow Application Manager and will regularly consult with other colleagues and partners: the service delivery manager, developers, architects, analysts, etc.
  • You will see to the life cycle management of these applications.
  • If serious incidents arise, you will be the first person to contact. You will monitor incidents, perform problem management and mobilise colleagues to get the systems up and running as quickly as possible.
  • You will manage the applications (Java and third-party software) and monitor the technical architecture and configuration management, the operational parameters, the stability and continuity and the release calendar of the applications, in this way guaranteeing that SLAs and SLEs are met.
  • You will take stock of all questions, needs and risks relating to the applications. You will formulate proposals for optimisation in consultation with your business, the process manager and the application experts so as to have the necessary actions scheduled together with the service delivery manager (build) and thus have these included in the roadmap.
  • You will actively take part in projects.

In this full-time position you will be working at the Wilgenveld offices in Halle. You will also have the opportunity to work from our regional offices a few days a week.

Profile:

  • Education & experience- You have a bachelor or master degree in IT and have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience within development or IT.
  • Communication- You can inspire colleagues with enthusiasm & you are assertive enough to convince people of your point of view, both internal and external partners (e.g. training team).
  • Thoughtful & eager to learn- You reflect on how we can reach a target audience and are open to extra training in order to improve your knowledge and skills. You take initiative easily.
  • Analytical skills - You analyse problems in a logical way. This helps you to make quick decisions and achieve the right solutions.
  • Flexibility - You can deal with change or changing circumstances. You always comply with the procedures.
  • Language skills- You communicate fluently in Dutch and/or English, allowing you to enter into dialogue with all your colleagues.
