For one of the most exciting company in Antwerp that is growing (expanding) we are looking for a Project Automation Engineer. The growth means that new projects must be excellent, stylish, positive and sometimes rigorously managed. If the words ’industry 4.0’, and working together with colleagues within ’data’, ’AI’, IoT and MES engineers sound like music to your ears, you are the profile we are looking for.

As an automation engineer:

  • You are responsible for carrying out automated part of the projects independently, this goes from analysis to commissioning and possibly in collaboration with a project manager for larger projects.
  • You work in project teams automation and IT experts on a number of projects for different clients throughout Europe in the field of industry 4.0
  • During the start-up of a project, you occasionally work for the client and perform the necessary FAT & SAT tests.

Profile:

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or ICT, or you have acquired an equivalent level of knowledge through experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in process automation, PLC, control and SCADA systems. Knowledge of PCS7 is an asset
  • However, you are a team player with good stress resistance and the ability to lead others in a medium-sized project.
  • Excellent command of English, other languages such as Dutch, French language is a plus
  • Willing to travel (max 15 to 20%)
