Automation Project Specialist

Join Akkodis Belgium as an Automation Project Specialist and take part in an exciting venture to enhance laboratory automation. This role involves evaluating technical solutions necessary to integrate additional modules into high-level and no-code programming environments for Tecan automated platforms. We’re seeking a skilled individual to bridge technical gaps, with the ultimate goal of creating an open platform for increased connectivity. What you will Do?

  • Design and implement technical solutions for Tecan automated platform integration
  • Collaborate with experts to assess limitations in current programming environments
  • Conduct research to identify viable technologies for laboratory module programming
  • Develop proof-of-concept automation solutions alongside key stakeholders
  • Deliver detailed reports and recommendations for solution extensibility

Your Skills

  • Proven expertise in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical process automation
  • Strong coding skills in Visual Basic, VB Net, Python, or similar language
  • Experience in developing and executing lab automation processes and assays
  • Ability to design and manage projects in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative work in multidisciplinary teams
