A company active in the Insurance sector is currently looking to hire a Budget Manager to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in finance and in budgeting, you will be the perfect addition to the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Budget Manager will include:

  • Collecting budgetary information in order to establish the IT budget for the next 3 years
  • Recording throughout the year the modifications impacting this budget in order to have the revised budget available at any time
  • Verifying the presence of an available budget before any order validation or identifying a budgetary solution with the requestor in other cases
  • Processing all invoices relating to your scope and add the necessary information (cost center, budget line, etc.) required for their booking
  • Establishing the monthly provisions to be loaded in SAP
  • Verifying the figures entered in SAP and make correction requests if necessary
  • Analysing the figures and report in detail to several bodies
  • Resolving issues related to the encoding of outsourced timesheets in SAP and the payment of their invoices

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s in Finance or Economics
  • You have 5 years of relevant experience in a similar function
  • You are an expert user of excel and PowerPoint
  • You have a good knowledge of accounting principles
  • Knowledge of SAP and reporting systems is a plus
  • You are fluent in French and Dutch

  • You are analytical and rigorous, with numerical skills
