Business Analyst in Policy Management and Declaration Handling

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a specialization in Policy Management and Declaration Handling to join our consultancy team. As a consultant representing Keystone Solutions, youll play an integral role in analyzing, developing, and optimizing policy and declaration processes at a prominent client site, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, IT, and business units. Key Responsibilities

Policy and Declaration Management

• Analyze and manage the lifecycle of policies and declarations, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements and organizational objectives.
• Coordinate and oversee the creation, review, and approval processes for policy documentation and declaration forms, contributing to streamlined workflows.
• Maintain and update policy management systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of all documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements Gathering

• Collaborate directly with various stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for policy and declaration management.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for IT teams and vendors, ensuring smooth and effective implementation.

Process Improvement

• Identify and recommend process improvements for policy handling and declaration management, with a focus on increasing automation and reducing manual intervention.
• Implement workflow enhancements that support efficient policy management, aligning with best practices and client goals.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze data related to policy usage, compliance, and declaration submissions to generate actionable insights.
• Prepare regular reports on policy performance, compliance, and risk metrics for management reviews and regulatory audits.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between business units, legal, compliance, and IT teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication on policy and declaration initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to help stakeholders understand policy changes and their operational impact.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure policy and declaration processes are compliant with applicable legal and regulatory standards, and support risk assessments by providing thorough documentation and analysis.

Information Technology and System Support

• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance policy management system functionalities and provide end-user training and support, reinforcing adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst, ideally within policy management, risk management, or insurance sectors.
• Skills: Proficiency in policy management software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and expertise in stakeholder collaboration.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel), familiarity with data analysis tools, and experience with policy management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
• Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English is required; Dutch or French is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts) and knowledge of compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of risk management processes within policy-driven environments.
