You’re a well-rounded Business Intelligence Specialist who can easily step into the shoes of our different business departments and define the right reporting solution for their needs. You’re eager to be the driving force behind reporting qualityand guide us through the implementation of an information handling strategy. Is improved efficiency your main goal? Good! So is ours. In a company that delivers IT consulting services users love to build their own reports. In order to streamline all reporting needs we’re looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist: someone who’ll reshape, standardize and manage our reporting environment on a daily basis.

You’ll soon become a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the many stakeholders in our company. delaware is present in 13 countries and has Belgian offices in Ghent, Antwerp, Kortrijk, Lummen, Wavre and Liège, but IT meetings mostly take place in the Kortrijk office, when not organized remotely via Teams or Zoom.

What will you be doing?

• As a Business Intelligence Specialist you’ll be responsible for our internal reporting environment. You’ll work together closely with the business departments (Project Delivery, Managed services, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, scheduling, etc.) to define the right reporting solution for their needs.
• You’ll play a leading part in the implementation of the disciplined, structured use of data.
• You’ll establish a clear framework and provide technical resources (SAP Analytics Cloud and Microsoft Power BI) for your colleagues to work with.
• We’ll have to find a balance between central reporting and ‘self-service’ reporting – But you’ll have final responsibility for all reports and dashboards that we offer to our colleagues and customers.
• In addition, you’ll make sure all available data is integrated in order to create reliable reporting and dashboards.
• You’ll dare to question the necessity of certain reports or dashboards: Are they actually being used? Do they serve their purpose?
• You’ll handle all kinds of data (project performance data, marketing data, financial data, payroll data, etc.) coming from all kinds of sources, so variety is guaranteed.

Is there a match?

You’ll be a great addition to our team if you…

• Have +3 years of experience working in a reporting environment or role similar to this one;
• Can get along with reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud or Microsoft Power BI. Any technical experience would be a plus;
• Are able to translate the business needs into simple reporting solutions. Don’t worry though: you won’t have to set up dashboards yourself – your more technically minded colleagues will handle that;
• Are a bit of a negotiator. You have strong business acumen and can make people rethinktheirreporting strategy;
• Have an analytical mind. You can easily interpret numbers and draw clear conclusions from them;
• Can communicate fluently in Dutch or French and English;
• Are a conceptually strong Business Intelligence Specialist who can take a leading role and enthuse people.
