Your Profile:
  • You are fluent in English (TME business language)
  • You have engineering, analytical or supply chain management background and ideally 2 years working experience
  • You are happy to work in a diverse, multicultural and inclusive company
  • You are capable and keen to learn and to adapt to different working environments in a fast pace
  • You are willing to work across transversal teams/areas
  • You like integrating built-in-quality in your activities / tasks
  • You have a strong desire to challenge status-quo and are not afraid to take up measured risks

  • You like going to the source in our Manufacturing Plants to grasp and thoroughly analyse processes / problems

Your team and your responsibilities:
Belonging to Manufacturing Support Function, Business Reform department mission is to contribute to smooth Demand & Supply by defining best processes & supporting best systems whilst considering TPS principles of JIT and Built-in Quality for Manufacturing Supply Chain area.
This process and system design must also consider future technology impact, whilst targeting operational efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Key tasks:

  • Global Supply Chain Systems roll out - centralised counterpart to TMC (Toyota Motor Corporation) for global system introduction in EU region
  • Regional system creation and simplification in agile manner + Pan-EU implementation
  • Project Management of major Pan EU operation & system improvement activities as Pilot
  • Secure know how on tools & processes in EU Vehicle and Unit Plants

Your responsibilities:

Within the area of manufacturing supply chain:
  • Act as gatekeeper and lead implementation of TME regional or global systems to EU Plants including challenge of existing system and processes. This includes project management, requirements creation, design and testing in agile method
  • Drive forward simplification and Pan-EU standardisation/expansion of existing manufacturing systems to contribute to total cost targets and provide framework for Pan-EU Kaizen
  • Contribute to the level up of TME BR and Plant members on manufacturing tools best utilisation and application of TPS by creating adequate explanation materials and providing training sessions
