We sell to aerospace manufacturers, aircraft maintenance facilities and machine shops across the United States and overseas.
Position Summary/Objective:The Contract Administrator is focused on executing business within the terms of a contractual agreement with a customer. This role supports daily business transactions, customer service, production coordination, inventory planning and business growth, with a focus on maximizing profit.
Essential Functions:

- Develops, tracks and maintains customer base for assigned contracts
- Completes and maintains all customer contract forms
- All customer contract forms and price exhibits to be kept up to date, day to day, cost versus resale maintained and new additions documented.
- Provide Best-In-Class customer service commensurate with the policy and objectives of AMI Metals
- Responsive to customer request for status, price, lead-time, expediting, technical data, paperwork, etc.
- Interface with customer in assigned territories, including, but not limited to, generating sales and profits from assigned contract base.
- Maintain contact with all customers via phone, e-mail or other.
- Visit with Contract customers via scheduled site visits. These calls are to do a contract update, assess problems, provide an information update and grow the relationship and additional business.
- Note action items from meeting and schedule follow up. Update CRM with notes and action items.
- Process Customer orders
- Provide feedback to Management and Administrative Departments
- Communicate via e-mail information regarding competitor activity such as pricing, material availability and lead-times
- Assist in maintaining A/R integrity with all customers in assigned territory
- Execute Credit and RA forms
- Review and be aware of account status, dates, and A/R balances.
- Communicate credit issues with AR and Contract Management
- Work with AR Resolve credit issues with customer.
- Notify customer of late payment trends and hold them accountable for payment
- Maintain open communication with customer on A/R issues.
- Execute Management strategy for Contract Development
- Solicit customer quotations for various new product initiatives.
- Connect with multiple departments within each customer: Estimating, Engineering, Business Development, Buying, Planning, etc.
- Participates in departmental and /or other company meetings.
- Prepare any pertinent market information or inference received from your customer for each monthly review with contract management.
- Customer reporting
- Forecast Review
Language Skills:
- Bi-Lingual (English and French)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Required Education, Professional Certifications/Licenses & Experience:
- College/University education; or six to twelve months related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient with MS Office
Working Conditions/Environment:
