Join our dynamic Contract Logistics Business Unit in Geel as a Junior Logistic Solution Engineer. Support innovative projects, optimize supply chains, and grow within a dynamic team.

Your Role

As a Junior Logistic Solution Engineer, you will analyze and redesign logistics processes, support continuous improvement projects, and utilize advanced tools to create efficient logistics solutions. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze and investigate logistics processes and full-option supply chains for both existing and new customers.
  • Redesign logistics solutions and improvements for inbound and outbound processes, warehouse and distribution processes, semi-production processes, and warehouse layouts.
  • Optimize existing processes by acting as a logistics expert in continuous improvement projects.
  • Use global calculation tools (GCT) and supporting tools for warehouse calculations to create logistics solutions.
  • Assist work-streams in complex warehouse design projects.
  • Prepare and follow up on implementation and project plans to ensure timely and budgeted realization.
  • Solve problems and coordinate solutions during the design and implementation phases.
  • Present solutions with the team to customers, engaging in stakeholder discussions.

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Master’s degree in Logistics or equivalent experience.
  • Initial working experience in operations management and/or engineering.
  • Keen interest in production or logistics engineering.
  • Strong communication skills with experience in problem-solving, leading project meetings, and delivering presentations.
  • Self-motivated personality with a result-driven, hands-on attitude.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; basic experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within BeNeLux for various projects and customers.
