It’s much more than just a job

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you will not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the daily operations and success of the warehouse and distribution centers. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for daily lunches and family celebrations. Join our dynamic project team as a WMS Superuser, where you’ll become an expert in our warehouse systems. You’ll start by testing the system in a controlled environment, followed by hands-on testing with physical products. Your mission: ensure the system is fully optimized and bulletproof before go-live. Once live, you’ll transition into a key role in operations monitoring flows, planning orders, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth, reliable warehouse performance. You’ll also track key metrics to drive continuous improvement.

How you create impact

  • Execute structured test cases to validate system functionality and Identify bugs and collaborate with IS teams for resolution.
  • Deepen your expertise in WMS and WCS systems to train and support operations.
  • Define, implement, and monitor reports to improve operational visibility and performance.
  • Monitoring key parameters and SCADA systems to detect and escalate issues
  • Advising supervisors on targets and volume planning based on forecasts
  • Planning orders in line with warehouse capacity, resources, and inbound schedules
  • Maintaining flow and reliability to meet SLA and delivery commitments.
