Your mission

As a Controls Software Engineer Automotive, you support the development of mechatronic control systems used in the automotive industry. Your tasks are to:

  • Establish and verify controls settings for mechatronic products from concept until production
  • Take part in the creation of new mechatronic products
  • Generate plant models to develop and optimize the control algorithms
  • Define control solutions using model-based programing
  • Achieve the set objectives for deliverables and collaborate/negotiate with customer

Your experience

  • Master in Electromechanical, Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the development of controls for automotive industry
  • Expertise in the architecture of vehicle powertrain control systems and vehicle dynamics control systems
  • Experience with the integration of control algorithms on ECU’s
  • Regular use of Matlab Simulink, DSpace, RapidPro, Simscape and C programming
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
