Data Engineer - Ghent & Hasselt!

We are partnered with a technology-driven firm specializing in providing innovative data solutions for their international customers, who are looking for experienced Data Engineers to join their growing offices in Ghent and Hasselt. They are dedicated to empowering their clients with cutting-edge data strategies to excel in today’s competitive landscape, and are looking for talented individuals to contribute innovative ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, and optimize data pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
  • Develop, build and maintain data warehouses.
  • Collaborate on data models for efficiency and reliability, delivering tailored solutions for our clients.
  • Apply advanced SQL techniques for extraction and transformation, ensuring the highest quality insights.
  • Optimize data performance within the Snowflake environment .
  • For more experience applicants, the opportunity to assume a team lead position.

Qualifications:

  • A degree Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years professional experience.
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language.
  • Experience with ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in DBT for agile data modelling and transformation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, specializing in data warehousing and optimization.
  • Fluent English (Dutch is a bonus).

Salary package:

  • Up to €6500 gross per month for highly experienced applicants.
  • Company car + benefits.
