Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Northwind

The Vestas Offshore Belgium service department is responsible for maintaining the wind turbines in various offshore windfarms at the North Sea. Our department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are key to our growth.

You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

More specifically you will work for the Northwind Offshore Windfarm, where daily transfers to-and from the windfarm are done with a Crew Transfer Vessel. This means that you will work in a 14 day on / 14 day off regime and will go home every evening.

Responsibilities

As a deputy-supervisor you will be supporting- and working closely together with the operations- and maintenance supervisor as well as take over the main responsibilities during their absence. You will mainly work onshore in the office and when required join a team offshore.

Together with the supervisor, your main task will be to organize and plan for smooth daily operations at the Northwind Offshore Wind Farm.

This Includes, Among Other Things

• Long term maintenance planning: ensure delivery and execution of planned service activities
• Short term maintenance planning: daily transfer planning, follow-up of daily offshore activities
• Conduct daily briefings and Toolbox talks with service technicians, subcontractors, and vessel crew
• Monitoring of wind turbine performance
• Planning and follow-up of corrective maintenance (work pack preparation)
• Organize resource planning, shift rotations and shift change/crew change
• Daily coordination with sub-contractors
• Actively participate in solving quality- and technical issues
• Participate in technical client meetings
• Complete and deliver various periodical reports
• Review analysis tools (CMS, SCADA, MS Power BI, …)
• Daily cooperation with on-site warehousing
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor technical degree (or similar)
• Experience with leadership is a great advantage
• IT skilled – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP ERP
• Full and clean driving license
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written (English and Dutch)
• Live max 45 mins from our Oostende office
