Dispatch are the end users of our applications. Our applications are business critical and supported by a 24/7 waiting service. You support the development teams with your DevOps expertise and experience and participate in all DevOps initiatives within the real-time application for controlling and following up train traffic in Belgium. You will work with the system & infrastructure colleagues for system tasks related to servers, connectivity, virtualization, performance, availability & security improvements. You will work closely with various stakeholders (Product Owners, Developers, Testers, cross-border SPOCs, other teams, etc...) to realize the DevOps projects within agency I-ICT.213.

The tasks of your assignment includes:

- support fellow DevOps application engineers

- coaching junior DevOps application engineers · follow up the different DevOps initiators - collaborate with the agile development teams

Automation of the development pipeline CI/CD

- automation installation procedures - automation DRP procedures

- prepare and present sprint demos

- keeping the technical and operational documentation up to date

- share your knowledge with team members and colleagues - analyze and solve bugs

When executing the assignment, you always respect the procedures and guidelines. After a thorough training you will participate in the 24/7 waiting service and planned interventions during the weekend"

- (M) higher relevant IT programme (minimum Bachelor, ideally Master)

- (M) very good knowledge of the English language (speaking, understand)

- (M) At least 5 years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer

- (M) At least 3 years of relevant experience and a very good knowledge of agile/SCRUM in a software development context

- (M) Very good knowledge of Ansible with at least 5 years of relevant experience

- (M) Very good knowledge of AWX with at least 3 years of relevant experience

- (M) Very good knowledge of GIT and at least 5 years of relevant experience

- (M) Very good knowledge of CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, Gitlab and at least 5 years of relevant experience

- (M) Very good knowledge of virtualization and container services such as Docker, Kubernates, Openshift and at least 5 years of relevant experience

- (M) Very good knowledge of scripting such as Bash, Pytho and at least 5 years of relevant experience

- (M) very good knowledge of Linux services and at least 5 years of relevant experience

- Knowledge and experience with HAproxy, Keepalived

- Knowledge and experience with database (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)

- Knowledge and experience with monitoring tools Grafana and Zabbix

- Knowledge and experience with security concepts such as SSL, Certificates

- Knowledge and experience with BI/Datastores (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Kafka)

- Knowledge and experience with Web Application Server (e.g. WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat) and Apache Web Server

· Knowledge and experience with Linux & Windows Server OS

· Knowledge and experience with Web services concepts (e.g. SOAP, REST)

· Knowledge and experience with networking concepts (e.g. LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls)

· knowledge and experience with JIRA Agile, Xray and Confluence

· knowledge and experience with real-time applications, high availability and DRP concepts
