What challenge will you take on?

As Director Real Estate Advisory, you will lead the operational business unit of consultants, real estate advisors and programme managers that focuses mainly on the sector of sustainable real estate development, real estate transactions and the realisation of complex real estate programmes.

You will belong to the experienced management team of the Places business area and you will set the strategy and direction for the operational activities of the Real Estate Advisory & Program Management business unit.

Within this business unit, there are three teams, Real Estate Strategy, Program Management & Transactional Services, whose operational managers you will directly manage.

You are jointly responsible for the further growth of the business unit and therefore work closely with our commercial team.

You maintain constructive, direct contacts with existing and new clients within this specific sector and help build a stronger market positioning of Arcadis, with specific attention to the sustainable transition within the sector.

Together with the operational managers, you negotiate contracts in a structured professional manner and monitor the feasibility and profitability of our multidisciplinary activities.

You help ensure that the quotation process is well organised: elaboration, follow-up and quality control.

You proactively look for synergies with the other business units in the Places business area and work together with international colleagues, also in foreign projects.

You report directly to the Business Area Director Places.

Does your profile match?

• You have a master’s degree, preferably complemented by specific training/specialisation in the field of real estate development;
• You have at least 7 years of relevant experience in the real estate sector and have a consultancy mindset;
• You have a growth mindset, a consultative and entrepreneurial approach with the aim of generating impact together with the team that matters;
• You have strong analytical skills, are solution-oriented, client-focused, dynamic, results-oriented and resourceful;
• You have proven project management, leadership and organisational skills within the real estate development sector;
• You have a genuine interest in making the real estate sector more sustainable and are committed to playing a pioneering role in this with the business unit
• You are confident and have a strong desire to be involved in business development activities;
• You are a dedicated and ambitious team player with very good communication skills.
