To further strengthen our discovery team, we are looking for a Discovery Finance Administrator. This position will occupy a key role supporting the financial activities in the discovery group, ensuring business plans are effectively captured in sound financial plans which are kept up to date. The Discovery Finance Administrator will act as the liaison between the discovery teams and finance. This is a role in the heart of a fast pace of dynamic discovery engine.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Discovery teams with financial planning and reporting;

  • Help maintaining and updating the team’s financial plan and translating activities into budget lines in the ERP system; supports monthly closings and quarterly forecasting exercises;

  • Train and help responsible for ERP system question;

  • Support budget review meetings;

  • Work closely with the Accounting team to resolve supplier related queries (PO’s, supplier invoices and payments, vendor creation processes);

  • Implement efficient purchase procedures and follow up, including internal controls;

  • Follow-up on quote approvals and yearly contracts with suppliers;

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent financial or procurement background;

  • ERP/Oracle experience is highly appreciated;

  • Hands-on and operational mindset;

  • Interest in working in biotech environment and the according activities;

  • Quality conscious attitude;

  • Capable of building effective relationships with internal stakeholders;

  • Able to operate in a dynamic surrounding of a fast growing biotech company with challenging timelines;

  • Fluent in English – our working language
