John Cockerill Energy Solutions offers a wide range of technical services and advices to modernize, repair or overhaul boilersof all power ratings and from all boiler manufacturers; including conventional drum type boiler and once through boilers.

To reinforce its Operations Department, the After-Sales Business Unitis recruiting anexperienced E&I Engineer (M/F/X).

Responsibilities

The duties of the E&I Engineer are amongst others:
  • Application of the Design Process,
  • E&I engineering of products for projects of the Energy Sector of John Cockerill,
  • Development of power single line diagrams and wiring diagrams,
  • Issue of instrument, I/O and consumer lists,
  • Writing of technical purchase specifications,
  • Issue of design data sheets,
  • Participation to technical negotiations,
  • Optimization of the design,
  • Conformity of the technical documentation to applicable codes and norms,
  • Respect of Customer specifications and requirements,
  • Technical risks assessments,
  • Application of standards and good practices,
  • Delivery of the technical documentation to the Project Team according to the schedule and within the specified budget.
Competencies

The E&I Engineer has a specialist profile. He/She must be available for temporary missions, sometimes on short notice, including international travel.

His/Her Technical Skills Are
  • Knowledge on local and remote instrumentation
  • Knowledge about low, medium and/or high voltage power distribution
  • Knowledge about PLC
  • Application of internal technical choices
  • Understanding of his professional environment
  • Understanding of products and organization interfaces
  • Knowledge of the MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluent in English (reading, speaking, listening)
