Moebius Consulting is the technical consultancy company within the Verhaert Group Masters in Innovation.
We are looking for a master electronics with minimal 3 years of experience to support our client in Brussels as an electronics hardware engineer.

De functie

We’re looking for an experienced Electronics hardware engineer to join our clients team in Brussels.
Together with the experienced team, you will be involved in the development of electronics from concept to production.

As an electronics hardware engineer, you will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate and evaluate embedded electronics such as specifications, component selection, PCB layout,..
  • Write test plans and perform testing and test reporting.
  • Work closely with the team in our clients electronic lab in Brussels.
  • Create and maintain standard specifications for electronics.
  • Support the product team to define new features specification.
  • Also evaluate technical practicability by rapid prototyping.

Het profiel

The electronics hardware engineer we are looking for has the following qualities and competences:

  • Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with mixed-signal electronics PCB design (digital, analogue)
  • Experience with electronics test and measurement lab environment (Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyser, VNA…)
  • Knowledge of communication protocols including UART, I²C, SPI, CAN, JTAG etc…
  • Comfortable with basic discrete component design such as BJT, MOSFETs, Diodes, circuit protection and switching solutions.
  • Experience with ARM, MSP430, AVR ATMEGA, PIC or similar microcontrollers.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as Spice/LTSpice.
  • Experience with designing within thermal management requirements.
  • Experience with PCB integration with mechanical constraints and design for manufacturing and test.
  • Layout experience with multi-layer and high integration level PCB.
