You will be part of the Engine Aftermarket team at Donaldson with a focus on Hydraulics applications.

SUMMARY

Plan and control applications of Engine Products in the assigned product/market area and provide technical support to sales, customers and users in the field.

Recommend Product range extensions based on market needs, Donaldson strategies and input from market/data analysts. Prioritize and implement replacement filters in line with customer specifications and needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor, define and recommend product application or adapt company products in line with customer specifications
• Technically assist sales in their customer contacts through visits, product presentation and/or consultation for solving problems or needs
• Provide training to sales and distributors
• Project management and full project ownership
• Ensure products are manufactured in plants according to the related drawings
• Design and conceive competitive products
• Upgrade products by recommending new/changed products, propose cost reductions and standardization
• Evaluate and compare our products versus competition through lab tests, material evaluation on design, performance, appearance, cost and application criteria.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Industrial engineer or equivalent through experience
• +2 years of experience as Industrial Engineer, Technical Product Management or CAD Design.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCES:

• Technical knowledge of hydraulic filtration and fluid dynamics
• General knowledge about manufacturing methods, capabilities and new materials
• Able to work with global remote entities (US & APAC region) and willingness to travel
• Written and spoken communication skills in English, any other language is an asset
• Training skills and commercial understanding
• Multitasking and priority management (balance between release management and technical customer support)
