About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Enterprise Account Solutions Architect to join us in Belgium. In this role, you will manage the adoption of Red Hat’s application development solutions within our enterprise customers across the designated accounts from a technical perspective. You will work with our enterprise customers in a presales role. You’ll collaborate closely with account managers, solutions sales specialists, and inside sales associates, building long-lasting relationships and expanding our business in these accounts. You’ll need to have cloud-native thinking, technical expertise, passion for open source, a thorough understanding of business processes, and the ability to identify and solve issues at the enterprise level. As an Enterprise Account Solutions Architect, you’ll bring your own talent, experiences, and qualifications to Red Hat. We want to learn from you as well. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do:
  • Develop strategic relationships with our customers and become a trusted adviser
  • Build, design, and present complex solutions to customers
  • Provide architectural and presales technical support to the customers
  • Lead the technical validation process with customers, including presentations and demonstrations of our offerings and solutions, technical deep dive sessions and workshops, and proofs of concept
  • Collaborate with product teams and the Product Engineering, Professional Services, IBM, and Sales teams to ensure excellent customer experience with our offerings and solutions
  • Assist our internal Request for Proposals (RFP) team with responding for customer success
  • Assist in developing sales strategies to help ensure that Red Hat’s objectives are met
  • Demonstrate expertise by delivering whitepapers and conference talks; share knowledge with your team members to allow them to learn from your work
  • Meet revenue quota, deployment, and service objectives while maintaining great relationships with customers

  • Experience on engineering practices for cloud-native development
  • Record of working with or leading a team of developers and experience with application life cycle management, including continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD)
  • Experience with business application development, middleware offerings like application servers, integration offerings, business process management, and container architecture
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and with a record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels
  • Knowledge of and experience with how to implement the most modern IT at the enterprise and the ability to articulate their impact on business
  • Conversational language skills in Dutch, English, and French
  • Experience in working with the public cloud providers is a plus
