A company active in the medical sector is currently looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their offices in Zaventem.

Thanks to your experience in accounting, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in it.

Your main responsibilities as the new Financial Analyst will include:

  • Overseeing the accounting of the region in scope
  • Completing monthly, quarterly and annual closing controls, taking in charge the cost control and quarterly reporting tasks.
  • Performing in statutory audits and tax reporting, alongside our tax consultants.
  • Participating in annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Backing and proactively participating in ad hoc projects, such as software migration.
  • Functioning as the business partner between the financial and non-financial departments.
  • Being the intermediary between the Shared Services Centre and the local subsidiary.

Your profile:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics or Finance
  • You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience Accounting and Finance, and a first experience in reporting
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus

Your strengths:

  • Thanks to your expertise in US GAAP, you feel able to use local accounting & reporting principals
  • You are pro-active, autonomous and open-minded, you are always ahead and thinking about the next steps
  • Through your previous experience you have built a knowledge of Excel and basis in SAP/BPC ERP Software and BI Software is considered as a plus
  • You have a strong communication skills and stress resilient
