The rapid growth of the Luxembourg office and the increasing number, pace and complexity of the new transactions going through it led the company to increase the headcounts. For this reason, our client is currently looking for a Financial Analyst (M/F/X).

Our client is a truly global asset manager, with 46 offices and investment centres in 24 locations. The Group manages investment across the full spectrum of asset classes and geographic markets - including equities, fixed income, property and alternative assets.

Formed in 1983, the firm manages assets of £291.07 billion as at 31 June 2018. Listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1991, the company is one of Europe’s largest public, pure-play investment managers.

The Luxembourg office has employed 46 full time staff members.

As a Financial Analyst the person in charge will directly report to the Head of Finance of Luxembourg and will undertake the following responsibilities (not limited to the following):

  • Assisting with the coordination and preparation of financial and management periodic and annual reports, including financial statements, tax returns and VAT returns
  • In relation with companies’ auditors and advisors, providing them with requested data collated from different locations and resolving issues
  • Looking after various legal entities from an accounting, corporate, tax and compliance point of view including liaising with external advisors
  • Ensuring and monitoring cash collections and payment
  • Ensuring that all transactions are performed in compliance with group/company`s procedures and policies
  • Monitoring operating processes and identifying potential gaps in procedures and policies
  • Liaising with the deal team on a regular basis and helping them to structure investments in Luxembourg

This list is non exhaustive and ad-hoc tasks can be added subject to the workload and candidate’s ability and willingness to develop his/her position.

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • A first proven experience - preferably acquired in external audit
  • Experience in Real Estate or Private Equity is a plus
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong aptitude and accuracy for numbers
  • Good team player, positive and pro-active attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and organizational skills
