What can you expect?

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our financial future. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Drive strategic financial analysis: You provide pivotal financial insights to support strategic decisions, working closely with the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams. You analyze key financial metrics and performance indicators, ensuring collaboration across procurement and sales departments.
• Lead financial planning and reporting: You spearhead the development of financial models and budgeting processes, collaborating with plant managers and operations teams for accurate forecasting. You manage timely financial reporting cycles, coordinating closely with the accounting team to enhance process efficiency.
• Manage projects and ensure compliance: You lead project evaluations for capital investments and cost optimizations, partnering with technical and quality assurance teams. You ensure all projects comply with applicable regulations and internal standards.
• Collaborate and educate across teams: You strengthen ties with key internal stakeholders in Technical Operations, Quality, Procurement, Planning, and Administration to foster a cooperative work environment. You continuously share financial knowledge and updates, aligning the finance team with broader company objectives. You facilitate cross-departmental workshops and training sessions to ensure a cohesive understanding of financial strategies and tools across the company.
  
  

Who are we looking for?

Education

• You have a master’s degree in finance, business management, accounting or another related field of study or you are equivalent through experience.
  
  

Experience:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a financial or accounting role within manufacturing, ideally in the biopharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
  
  

Languages:

• You are fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent written and oral communications skills.
  
  

Strengths:

• You excel at working independently, actively taking initiative to drive projects and achieve results
• You are an effective communicator, skilled in articulating financial concepts and engaging with stakeholders at all levels to foster understanding and collaboration.
• You are an analytical thinker and process oriented.
  
  

Expertise:

• You have a proven track record in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• You are a whiz at maintaining stringent financial controls and compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS).
