Your tasks as our Financial Controller

As Financial Controller you are responsible for monitoring the financial health of the

organization. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Ensure end-to-end actual reporting following the accounting standards (BE and US GAAP)

• Implement and perform recurring monthly closing controls in order to prepare, book and

review accounting entries.

• Perform a correct, complete and timely monthly closing.

• Execute ad hoc deep dive analysis to guarantee accurate financials.

• Ensure accurate Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reconciliations are done correctly, in

time, understood, reviewed and followed up.

• Explanations of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss fluctuations and narratives in our reporting.

• Contact for internal and external stakeholders, audit as well as the SOX-team.

• Make sure tasks are performed in the most efficient way

• Participates in and follows up on improvement/optimization projects or changes

Our ideal Financial Controller...

...has analytical insight and is passionate about numbers.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience within finance sector

• Experience with accounting software

• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English. French is a plus

• A hands-on mentality is your trademark

• You are a team player and pro-actively seek out to stakeholders

• You have a flexible attitude and can handle deadlines
