Hobson Prior are seeking for a Freelance Medical Writer to join a fantastic biotech corporation on a contract basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Belgium. Our client is focused on finding, developing, and commercialising novel remedies.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities
  • For this position, you will assist in the development and writing of clinical and regulatory reports.
  • You will plan writing actions.
  • Contribute to project- and study-teams.
  • Manage oversight of external medical writer(s), when a document is outsourced.
  • Offer the clinical team scientific and writing knowledge, to deliver documents that meet all quality and regulatory needs in a timely manner.
  • You will provide to the clinical team scientific and writing expertise, in order deliver timely documents that meet all quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Any other assigned duties.
Key Skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • An organised individual with the ability to plan various priorities.
Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in a science discipline with at least 5 years of experience working in a life science / pharmaceutical organisation.
  • Familiarity with writing pre-clinical text and/or pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamics sectors.
  • Experience writing documents such as protocols, clinical study reports, briefing books, investigator brochures, and any other regulatory documents replying to queries from authorities, pediatric investigation plans, etc.
  • Comprehension of planning documents for proposal for marketing approval.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, as well as document management systems.
  • Able to arrange and cooperate with external service providers.
  • Fluency in the English language.
