Group Business Development Controller

To reinforce our team at Puratos, we are looking for a Group Business Development Controller. You will be responsible for providing financial support to the Business Development Head Office communities (Business Units, Channels, Health&Well Being, Marketing and R&D), in defining their strategies, improving the understanding and control of their actual performance and their business (risks and opportunities) and providing added value support in projects (capex, customer review, pricing support, etc).

Key Accountabilities:

• You lead and develop the Business Development Control team, including coaching, objective setting and development planning.
• You will attend and present in the monthly Management meetings.
• You will make commercial analysis in all matrix-dimensions.
• You follow-up Big Rocks & define action plan together with the management.
• You will give support in planning activities (strategic plan, budget, forecast) by analyzing commercial data (risk & opportunity), by collecting business insights from commercial community + markets, by collaboration with Financial Control to obtain integer target setting and by ensuring alignment on actions between BU/Channel/Markets.
• You will be in charge of financial support in Business Plans (Capex requests & Innovation projects).
• You will be in charge of financial support in “group projects” such as Profitability Optimization, SKU reduction, specific product pricing analysis, etc.
• You act as finance business partner in supporting the organization from a digital point of view (Qlikview, PowerBI…)
• You will train non-finance partners to basics concept and tools.
• You will lead VC business cases reviews as well as financial structuring of the deal.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a master degree and minimum 5 years of professional experience in Finance and/or business control.
• You have experience in a multinational matrix environment. Having at least one international work experience is a plus.
• You are “tech-friendly” (QlikView, PowerBI, MS Office, …). Having SAP knowledge is a plus.
• You are a strong communicator with good interpersonal and people management skills who can motivate, inspire and develop people.
• You are proactive, business/commercial oriented and have the ability to see the bigger picture.
• You are fluent in English. Any other languages are a plus.
