Help expand patient access to innovative, life-saving therapies. As Head of Medical Education, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training and education programs for health care practitioners for our peripheral vascular therapies in Western Europe.

Materials and curricula developed will be used to expand adoption and promote positive clinical outcomes for patients diagnosed with peripheral vascular diseases, including peripheral arterial disease, chronic venous insufficiency, internal hemorrhages, pelvic venous disorders, AV fistula creation and maintenance, and many more.

A Day in the Life

• Leads the strategic development, planning, and continuous improvement of Medical Education programs for peripheral vascular products and therapies.
• Coordinates and executes education programs. Key activities include agenda creation, registration, curriculum content, contracts, and hand-on training.
• Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
• Builds and maintains strong internal partner relationships and partnerships with HCP faculty trainers.
• Works with marketing, country sales organizations and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the content is relevant, innovative, compliant, and interactive, whether for in-person or virtual programs.
• Maintains project management tracking for program activities relevant to compliance, logistics, budget, and metrics. Utilizes data systems (i.e., SDFC, CVENT, etc.) to track program metrics and report out.
• Develops compliant content and manages content through the ad promo approval process. This requires ongoing understanding of and adherence to ad promo guidelines and work instructions that maintain compliance.
• Works independently with direction from manager, and functional or technical experts.
• Leads collaborations with European and International medical societies for educational purposes.
• Supports the organization of advisory boards with international Key Opinion Leaders
• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and leads continuous improvement efforts to ensure training programs achieve instructional objectives and support business goals.
• Manages all logistical aspects of training programs together with the T&E coordinator and event planner.
  

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years in a role involving HCP training and education in the medical device industry
• Strong project/program management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient presenting to and interacting with HCPs and other clinical stakeholders
• Willingness to support training programs that involve animal labs
• Fluent in English, second European language a plus
• Ability to travel up to 50%
