YOUR ROLE
AEC is a global automotive distributor and a service provider for OEMs and suppliers, as well as an official importer of DODGE and RAM vehicles into Europe in cooperation with the manufacturer Stellantis (former Fiat Chrysler, FCA). AEC’s port facilities in Antwerp, including our own R&D facility and processing center, supply an extensive European network of over 130 AEC dealers. Founded 1996 in Canada, we have grown to become THE automotive solutions company with six global offices and facilities and over 130 employees.
We are looking for a Homologation Engineer/ Specialist to join our team in our Vehicle Processing Center in Kallo, Belgium.

Responsibilities:

• Create documentation / manuals for technical car installations.
• Take samples and check details.
• Performs quality controls on homologated vehicles.
• Ensure the homologation is performed at the highest standards.
• Fix issues on the spot.
• Deliver trainings.
• The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as requested by your manager.

YOUR PROFILE
The Ideal Candidate will Demonstrate the Following Skills and Abilities:

• Accuracy is key in our Automotive business.
• Ability to work independently.
• Request help when needed.
• Flexibility: possible to adapt on changing priorities.
• Fluent speaking and writing in English and Dutch is essential, German is a plus
• Mechanical Engineer qualification desired but not essential.
• At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
