BelGaN was a manufacturing facility for a famous integrated device manufacturer with products focused in automotive, industrial and medical applications. Now our vision is to become an automotive qualified leading GaN foundry in Europe. We are leveraging an automotive-qualified semiconductor fab, a highly skilled workforce in operations and R&D and a GaN Valley ecosystem in Belgium and Europe.

IT and governance manager
  • Develop and implement the IT and digital strategy in line with the BelGaN business objectives
  • Translate the outlined strategy into a challenging but executable IT roadmap in consultation with the business
  • Manage the IT services and suppliers based on measurable KPIs and SLAs
  • Optimizing the IT services with the IT suppliers and partners
  • Managing the internal IT team and the IT partners
  • Manage the IT budget together with the VP Shared Services
  • Ensure compliance around data management (such as GDPR) and security
  • Collaborate with BelGaN colleagues in the other departments to ensure IT services are optimally aligned with the business
  • Implementation of “best practices” and market-based standards such as ITIL, Prince2, Agile
  • Experience in successfully delivering complex projects within the agreed timing, budget and scope

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science or comparable based on experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with IT Management and People Management (5-10 people) in a similar environment
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of the IT market and possible solutions
  • Experience with SAP (and especially S/4 HANA Private Cloud) and Microsoft (Office365, .NET) is an advantage
  • Experience in leading IT and digital programs
  • Experience in managing employees and internal/external partners
  • Stress resistant
  • Team player with natural leadership
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Language skills: fluent in Dutch and English
  • Proximity is an added advantage
