For its IT Department based in the European Head office, (Belgium- Oost-Vlaanderen), our customer is currently looking for an:

IT APPLICATION SUPPORT

As a dynamic member of the IT team in a multinational environment, you will be responsible to support the retail, omnichannel and other applications in the digital world. You will explore new environments with the latest new software’s.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Promptly resolve IT issues in the areas of retail, omnichannel and order management.
  • Assist the business users and communicate with external partners when required to solve issues.
  • Work closely together with internal IT project managers and subcontractors.
  • Continuously make professional recommendations aiming at enhancing the end user experience.
  • Monitor the general behaviour of daily processes and in cooperation with the team members, closely follow up incoming tickets and calls in order to give a good level of service and support.
  • Develop and maintain detailed and transparent documentation to offer adapted professional support.
  • Constantly provide relevant feedback to the appropriate internal teams, both to business and IT experts.
  • Support the roll-out of new projects or changes to existing processes.

Applicants should ideally:

  • Be eager to learn new platforms in the area of retail and omnichannel.
  • Have a background in IT
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, servers & networking, hardware & drivers… is a plus.
  • Be proficient in English.
  • Be highly customer-service oriented.
  • Be a team player and able to work in a multinational environment
  • Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
  • Be proactive and demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Be result driven.
