Are you an amazing IT ERP Change Management Lead eager to join our IT department,based in our Braine l’Alleud office in Belgium?


As an IT ERP Change Management Lead, you will be responsible for the ERP systems globally. The ERP systems are used company-wide by over 5.000 employees and represent the transactional backbone, in case of standstill/critical incident the impact of UCB key business processes as production, distribution and payments would be high.


You will
contribute by:

  • Defining and maintaining the standard operating procedures related to ERP change management
  • Ensuring that standard operating procedures related to ERP change management are adequately followed:
    • Communicate change management procedures to all stakeholders
    • Drive the configuration of the change management system to make sure it is in line with the change management procedures
    • Check that change management procedures are applied, including the correct execution in the change management system
    • Ensure up-to-date training material on ERP change management is available and provide training where needed
  • Raising deviations linked to non-compliance with ERP change management standard operating procedures
    • Raise deviations in case change management procedures are not applied/followed
    • Request corrective actions, if required
    • Implement preventive actions, if required
  • Taking part in ERP compliance reviews
    • Act as SPOC for ERP compliance reviews and audits
    • Coordinate all requests to/from auditors
    • Ensure delivery of evidences
    • Report on status to ITLT
  • Running the IT ERP CAB, for scheduling all the changes, and for following up on any deviations
    • Organize and lead the IT ERP CAB
    • Ensure participation of the relevant stakeholders to the IT ERP CAB
    • Schedule and communicate the change release planning
    • Ensure prioritization of changes in case of conflicts
    • Follow up on scheduling deviations
    • Report on the release plan and adherence to the ERP community


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following
education, experience and skills:

  • Business knowledge & technical expertise:
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experiences of ERP projects.
    • Hands-on experience in change management
    • Experience with outsourcing activities (onshore/nearshore/offshore).
    • Experience in regulated processes, focused on computing in a GxP environment.
    • Experience or exposure to IT Governance.
    • Very good understanding of IT processes based on ITIL & Agile frameworks.
    • Basic understanding about technology used in ERP environments as well as ERP architecture.
  • Management & Leadership skills:
    • Strong strategy development capabilities, in terms of technology and innovation, vendor management, and operating model.
    • Strong people management and communication skills within an international environment.
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making, and time-management skills.
    • Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, and conflict management skills.
  • Delivering Solutions:
    • Ability to recognize upcoming issues, capture relevant data and initiate corrective action.
    • Understanding of possible impacts for business and projects and communicate to relevant people.
    • Ability to follow a proper escalation process to address issues/problems in a fair, but straight way to solve them.
    • Mindset to improve processes based on best practices and project/process reviews (lessons learned, to avoid repetition).
