Then you’ll want to join our IT Manufacturing team as the IT ERP Solution Expert Manufacturing, based in our Braine l’Alleud office in Belgium.


As the IT ERP Solution Expert Manufacturing, you’ll play a leading role in envisioning future state of our global SAP system, while organizing, implementing and managing end to end SAP solution for manufacturing and quality areas , namely production planning, plant maintenance and quality management processes across global sites.


You like to work in an environmentwhere you can:


  • Own and lead IT SAP solutions for Manufacturing, Maintenance and Quality acting as SPOC
  • Utilize your expert technical and functional knowledge to drive the scope and results related to multiple project plans (milestones, deliverables, financial targets) and ensure quality “run” and reporting activities
  • Apply your passion for collaborating across multiple departments and managing relationships with global and regional stakeholders and vendor partners
  • Demonstrate your ability to organize all data and processes across UCB manufacturing units to provide the most efficient and cost-effective solution
  • Work with stakeholders to identify the needs and the integration of requirements in the existing IT architecture within a validated environment
  • Propose innovative ways to improve quality, reliability & efficiency of SAP ERP solutions


You will contributeby:


  • Delivering projects in close collaboration with all parties involved while following the UCB IT project methodology and associated governance
  • Driving decisions and influencing stakeholders, process owners on a global level
  • Collaborating with IT Enterprise Architecture to develop roadmaps and ensure product evolution while leading the evaluation, selection and management of vendors with IT Vendor Mgt team
  • Tapping into your passion for continuous growth by staying up-to-date with new technologies, industrial trends and related legal, regulatory and compliance requirements while evaluating their implications for UCB


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or engineering field
  • Proven ability to work across functional and regional boundaries, challenge status quo, and handle multiple projects simultaneously delivering on time and on budget
  • Ability to make effective presentations to diverse groups and facilitate brainstorming sessions
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication, change management skills


Your Experience:


  • 5-10 years’ experience in IT role in a global company, preferably Pharma industry
  • Have experience in 2 to 3 end to end implementations, usually with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing & Maintenance systems. Mixed skill should include configuration and expertise in SAP PP/PI (primary focus) and SAP PM / SAP QM (secondary focus)
  • Experiences in interfacing ERP with external applications mainly MES ( Manufacturing Execution Systems) & LIMS (Lab information management system)
  • Experience in regulated (GxP) process focused on computing
