We are hiring a "Java Developer" for our client in Belgium

Description

Als Medior java developer maak je deel uit van een jong, dynamisch, Agile team dat online diensten ontwikkelt.

Je levert een eindproduct af, conform de standaarden van applicatie architectuur, de functionele eisen van de gebruikers en de globale ICT strategie en richtlijnen.

De nieuwste trends en ontwikkelingen spreken je aan, je leert graag bij en wil graag je kennis delen met je collega’s tijdens technische werkgroepen.

Je werkt samen met andere ontwikkelaars, software engineers, analisten, scrum master en de eindgebruikers met het oog op kwalitatieve, gebruiksvriendelijke tools voor de diverse business units.

Je communiceert met je interne klanten omtrent de verwachtingen en geeft op regelmatige basis feedback met betrekking tot de status

Je werkt mee aan best practices bij het opstellen van een nieuwe architectuur gebaseerd op Azure

Profiel

Je bent een teamplayer op zoek naar een afwisselende functie die uitdagingen met zich meebrengt

Je hebt ervaring in het coachen van java developers.

Je bent creatief en hebt verantwoordelijkheidszin.

Je neemt initiatief om kwaliteitsvolle oplossingen aan te bieden.

Kennis en/of ervaring in meerdere van volgende domeinen:

- Java tools/technologieën/frameworks/standaarden (vb: intelliJ, Spring boot, Hibernate, etc.) en

software ontwikkeling methodologie en tools.

- Continuous deployment en integration op basis van git, Maven/gradle, Nexus, bamboo, etc.

- Ontwikkeling of integratie van REST services

- Event driven architecture

- Database ontwikkeling: SQL, relationele databanken, cosmos DB

- Java servers zoals Tomcat

- Docker

- Azure kent geen geheimen: event hub, service bus, event grid, comosDB, AKS, functions, api

management, application insights, logic apps,...

Job description(In English):

As a Medior java developer you are part of a young, dynamic, Agile team that develops online services.

You deliver a final product, in accordance with the standards of application architecture, the functional requirements of the users and the global IT strategy and guidelines.

You like the latest trends and developments, you like to learn and share your knowledge with your colleagues during technical working groups.

You work together with other developers, software engineers, analysts, scrum master and the end users with a view to qualitative, user-friendly tools for the various business units.

You communicate with your internal customers about expectations and provide feedback on status on a regular basis

You contribute to best practices when drafting a new architecture based on Azure

Profile

You are a team player looking for a varied position that brings challenges

You have experience in coaching java developers.

You are creative and have a sense of responsibility.

You take the initiative to offer quality solutions.

Knowledge and/or experience in several of the following domains:

- Java tools/technologies/frameworks/standards (eg: intelliJ, Spring boot, Hibernate, etc.) and software development methodology and tools.

- Continuous deployment and integration based on git, Maven/gradle, Nexus, bamboo, etc.

- Development or integration of REST services

- Event-driven architecture

- Database development: SQL, relational databases, cosmos DB

- Java servers like Tomcat

- Docker

- Azure has no secrets: event hub, service bus, event grid, comosDB, AKS, functions, api management, application insights, logic apps,..

Languages

 Dutch Level Native or bilingual proficiency

 English level Full professional proficiency

 French Level Limited working proficiency
