All about the role

As our Knowledge Base Content Manager, you’re the expert on Customer Service content. That means producing accurate documentation that fits our business needs, while maintaining our tone of voice – ensuring all content has that special Takeaway.com flavour.


You’ll be writing on a range of CS topics, from processes and policies to standard procedures (SOPs). As well as writing new content, you’re able to improve our future communications by optimizing current knowledge-management practices.


Enjoy collaboration? That’s another key ingredient in this role. As part of the Global team, you’ll work with managers and training and quality staff to discuss results and find ways to improve processes – such as ensuring CS processes are aligned across our markets and measuring metrics.


In this varied role, you’ll also have the opportunity to:

  • Help resolve internal queries regarding knowledge content and practices;
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Global team to transform process charts; into descriptive, easy-to-understand articles;
  • Communicate new and modified processes in a clear and timely manner;
  • Analyse feedback for existing content and propose updates & changes;
  • Maintain the validity of knowledge content through auditing best practices
Can you deliver…

Ready to take on the role? Here’s what we need from you:

  • 1+ years’ experience in content creation;
  • Fluent English and French (written & spoken);
  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiastic about collaborating with a wide range of colleagues;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and flow chart software – especially ZenDesk;
  • Able to write in an informative, straightforward and engaging way that fits with our tone of voice;
  • An editorial mindset: you understand what your audience needs and how to create it.
