We are reinforcing Our Tax & Legal practice within Deloitte in Zaventem with a Learning & Development Manager.

As Learning & Development Manager you will support our business unit and people in strengthening L&D practices into a powerful learning experience for our people. You guide the organization to provide an adequate response to the learning & development needs of our people. This way you significantly contribute to shaping one of the pillars of Deloitte’s employer value proposition, our people’s growth and development opportunities in a true people business.

Your Responsibilities

  • You build strong business relationships and show a genuine interest to obtain a good understanding of the business. You align closely with business leadership and stakeholders, with learning champions and with talent colleagues to have a good view on current and future development needs and requirements of our practitioners, linked to the business strategy.
  • You advise and support the learning stakeholders with best practices and innovative approaches in learning solutions, from intake and needs analysis, over design to effective delivery.
  • You coordinate delivery of development programs in collaboration with your learning support colleagues, subject matter experts and facilitators (internal/external). You match the needs of the business with the already existing offering, design tailor-made learning solutions where relevant and/or work with external parties, assuring a high quality of the learning solutions.
  • You optimize the impact and value of our L&D strategy, by leveraging on reporting tools and ROI measurements, as well as L&D sources & platforms
  • You represent T&L in the broader Deloitte L&D community and provide coaching to a few colleagues that are part of the L&D-team.

Let’s Talk About You

  • You have a higher degree in a business-oriented direction and combine this with a solid professional experience (about 10 years) in the field of L&D (eg in a similar position, in a strong learning environment)
  • You have a passion for learning and are well aware of the latest evolutions within the Learning & Development area
  • Together with good analytical and problem-solving skills, you think critically and dare to question existing practices. You have a hands-on mentality and are flexible to adapt easily to changing environments.
  • You are an excellent coach, able to guide and motivate a small team. Furthermore, you are a true team player yourself, thriving on making and seeing people grow. You easily build relationships and trust.
  • You have a sound professional knowledge of English, Dutch and/or French, and have an excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, …).
