To strengthen its team, Maasmechelen Village is looking for an Assistant to join its in-house Legal and Remerchandising Departments, being the very heart of the village.

The Legal & Remerchandising Assistant will ensure the smooth, timely and accurate support to the Legal and Remerchandising departments’ daily activities. This role acts as a link to the other Village departments and oversees and coordinates administration of both the Legal and Remerchandising departments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant to join an international company in a dynamic environment and become involved in the cornerstone activities of the village.

A snap out of your tasks as the Legal & Remerchandising Assistant:

  • Draft legal/commercial correspondence, based on pre-approved templates.
  • Manage the internal approval, signature procedures for all contracts and terms sheet production and circulation.
  • Follow up on all outstanding pre- and post- (signature) matters.
  • Maintain filing and archive system and manage bank guarantees, deposits and other financial obligations.
  • Assist other Villages (legal) teams with commercial and remerchandising queries
  • Assist in the creation of brand/village compliance processes, follow up, and monitoring.
  • Prepare and draft minutes meetings/calls, update and circulate diaries.
  • Liaise and coordinate with all departments and provide organizational support and follow up regarding brand related queries.
  • If necessary, provide translations and general administrative support
  • Create and update remerchandising reports and documentation.
  • Update and track various remerchandising tools (brand lists, internal brand contact sheet, …)
  • Update systems following meetings (on salesforce); B2B’s & meetings.
  • Liaise and coordinate with all departments and provide organizational support and follow up regaring brand related queries.
