Logistics Controller

A company active in the wholesale sector is currently looking to hire a Logistics Controller to join their warehouse in Charleroi.

Thanks to your experience in Controlling, you will be the perfect addition to the Logistics Controlling Team within the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Logistics Controller will include:

• Define processes and implement operational procedures to measure and control operational financial movements.
• Analyze and document processes impacting the Group’s results, specifically on inventory, purchasing, transportation and cost of sales.
• Implement processes to improve the reliability of cost analysis and reduce or eliminate the impact of these costs on the Group’s revenue.
• Work in close collaboration with the Director of the Logistics Platform and the IT department to improve the management information systems and make the exchange of data between the various parties more reliable.
• Provide active assistance and advice to the management control department.
• Monitor and coordinate operational cost analyses with a view to optimizing and rationalizing them.
• Identify "bottom line leakage" issues and solutions to stop the impacts.
• Draw up the budget and forecast results for the logistics activity of the various platforms.
• Be a source of ideas.
• Share expertise with other departments.
• Manage the Logistic Controlling team

Your profile:

• You have a Master’s in Economic Sciences and/or Management.
• You have more than five years of relevant experience.
• You are fluent in French.

Your strengths:

• Thanks to your experience in controlling within an industrial or logistics environment, you feel capable of managing a team.
• You are solution-oriented, and you feel at ease with process implementation.
• You have previous experience working on various business cases
