About Our Client

Based in Brussels and having a European scope, the M&A Specialist will lead and coordinate the M&A activities from A to Z (from the prospection to the negotiation, the presentation and the conclusion of the deal).

The main markets are represented in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, France, Belgium & the UK.

Job Description

As M&A Specialistyou will directly report and work with the Director of Acquisition. Your role will definitely be key to the successful growth of the organization.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Looking for, identifying & negotiating new growth opportunities in the target markets with the analyses of the location, the performances, the potential …
  • Developing and managing the financial modelling of the different acquisition opportunities
  • Presenting the financial plans of the different acquisition opportunities to the Investment Committee
  • Building up and managing long term relationships with potential investors / partners
  • Being the point of contact, internally & externally for every investment matters

The Successful Applicant

At the leading of every identification, analyses, projection and approval of the different investment opportunities, the M&A Specialist will play a central role in the development of the company’s activities.

As such, the candidate will present a certain set of hard and soft skills:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, economics or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in Corporate finance, valuation, or M&A
  • Experience in the Real Estate sector is a real added value
  • Excellent command of English - any other European languages are a plus
  • CFA is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of valuation methods and models principles
  • Good command of modelling best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and strength of suggestions
  • Curious and always seeking self-development
  • Excellent team player and people person
