Manager of Proteomics Project Management

Your role
Lead project management team in proteomics
Accountable of the right execution of all projects within the agreed timelines and budget constraints.
Maximize profitability by ensuring project deliverables meet customers’ expectations and contract agreement.
Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Play the role of interface between all people and entities (including third parties) involved in the projects
Provide scientific expertise to salespeople, customers, and others internal and external stakeholders
Supervises, coaches & develops the operational project team
Work collaboratively with customers, third party’s partners and other functional internal leadership functions
Manage the overall customer interface so that profitable business and customer loyalty are maintained. Act as “the voice of the customer’’ at all levels of the organization.
Establish strong trust-based relationship with decision-makers from major customers and third-party partners
Contribute with other proteomic functions to design adequate project content and ensure project are appropriately resourced
Support commercial functions by providing expertise and visiting customers
Contribute to strategic decision making and continually seek opportunities to improve or develop the business.
Develop and improve standard processes to ensure that staff has the proper materials, systems access, and training to complete job responsibilities.
Establish tracking and monitoring systems and provide regular feedback on project progress.

Profile
Strong Scientific background (master’s in biology, (Bio)-Chemistry, Bio/Chemical-Engineer, Pharmacist …)
Experience/expertise in Immunology (working experience in private company) – min 2-3 Y
People management experience (2-5Y of experience)

Advanced management skills & ability to lead, influence and mobilize others.
Strong communication skills (empathy & assertiveness) both verbal and written
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, manager, clients, and external providers.
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Good administrative, organizational, analytics and planning skills.
Ability to identify and manage process improvements.
Ability to manage complexity & conflicting priorities.
Understanding of industry and economic environment in which the organization is operating.
Fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus.
Fluency in software operating systems such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems
