Our Operations Team is looking for a passionate engineer to support the growth in prototypes and test motors to be built on our brand new pilot line - currently under construction and completed during the summer. As an Operations/Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the pilot manufacturing processes and many other challenging R&D projects ahead.

Your responsibilities:

As an Operations/Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll collaborate very closely with R&D Engineers, other Operations Team members, external partners as well as suppliers. We are looking for a hands-on mechanical engineer with experience in assembly processes and an eagle eye for excellent manufacturing quality.

  • Build our motor prototypes in collaboration with the Prototype technicians.
  • Coordination of manufacturing documentation required for product manufacturing (Work instructions, BOM and Routings).
  • Improve our pilot line efficiency and capabilities, introducing and qualifying new assembly methods and processes.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective way of producing the highest quality product possible.
  • Closed loop communication with the R&D team to improve manufacturability.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Who are we looking for?

  • Mechanical/Industrial engineering level preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with assembly & manufacturing operations
  • Hands-on experience of lean manufacturing processes
  • Self-motivated
  • Reliable and adaptable to change
  • Team player
  • Able to prioritize workload and think in solutions
  • Systematic and data driven approach in dealing with assembly problem solving and continuous improvement.
